Age of Steam Expansions announced! Special Pre-order sale now available!
Today, Bezier Games is proud to announce SIX new Age of Steam Maps in three brand new expansions:
America & Europe
These mounted (just like the map that comes in Age of Steam) double-sided maps provide 3-6 players the full Age of Steam experience on a scale that has never been attempted before in an Age of Steam game. With just enough unique twists on standard Age of Steam to keep each map fresh, you'll find yourself in enticingly new challenging situations. Both maps' changes are primarily focused on goods delivery; in America, the low availability of goods and high demand, coupled with your limitation of delivering only one good per turn make every delivery a gut-wrenching decision. In Europe, cubes only enter the map when a player chooses the Production action...and then that player places only the cubes they want to place directly on the cities that benefit them the most.
Barbados & St. Lucia
These new lightweight double-sided maps (printed on durable bright cardstock, trimmed to fit in your Age of Steam box) are for 1 and 2 players. Barbados is a single player map that will challenge you to build a successful railroad, and still buy back all of your shares at the end of the game. St. Lucia is a two player map covered with goods cubes, which you pick up directly on the plains and riverbeds, delivering them to cities before your opponent does.
Jamaica & Puerto Rico
In Jamaica, you and one other player will battle for control of the limited goods available on the tropical isle, with a twist of a game-ending condition: the game doesn't end until the map is out of cubes! In Puerto Rico, pick one of several difficulty levels to try to build a profitable railroad; the catch is that half the cubes don't give you income for delivering them, but you'll be penalized 10 income at the end of the game if they're still on the board!
Special pre-order offer: $60 for SIX maps!
You may preorder all SIX Age of Steam maps for a discounted price of $60 + shipping. That's six new maps that play anywhere from 1-6 players.
Payments may be made via paypal to orders@bezier.com (please specify quantity and shipping address).

SIX new Age of Steam Expansions to be announced next week
Next week will see the announcement of six new Age of Steam maps from Bezier Games. Until then, here's a few teasers to hold you over:
1) There are SIX maps being announced in three different, double-sided expansion sets.
2) The number of players for two of these maps is different than any other AoS map.
3) One map is a location larger than any other (Earthbound) map, and another is smaller than any other map.
4) None of the maps are politically incorrect.
5) All of the maps are designed to work with “classic” (2nd Edition) Age of Steam, as well as the new Mayfair Age of Steam.
6) All the maps are real locations and are (somewhat) historically accurate.
7) One of the maps allows for a full game of Age of Steam in less than 30 minutes.
8) The rule changes on all the maps are simple, yet have dramatic impact on gameplay and strategy.
9) Pineapples play an important role on one of the maps.
10) All of the maps will be announced the week of Monday, July 23rd.

Age of Steam Expansions: Mississippi Steamboats & Golden Spike announced
These maps will be produced on gameboard just like the original Age of Steam "Great Lakes" Map!
Bezier Games today announced two new maps for Age of Steam from Ted Alspach, designer of 1830's Pennsylvania, Northern California, Disco Inferno and Soul Train, to ship in early April. These new maps feature simple yet unique mechanics, and are being produced on gameboard (just like the map that ships in the Age of Steam box!).
Pre-orders are being taken now; ensure that you get a copy of these new maps by ordering now (see details here).
Both maps come with English and German rules.
Age of Steam Expansion: Mississippi Steamboats
This Age of Steam expansion takes place on the great Mississippi River, where Steamboats were used in conjunction with the railroads to quickly and efficiently deliver goods throughout the Midwest. In this 3-6 player map, players compete to build and deliver goods to steamboats which are moving up and down the Mississippi River. Instead of urbanizing towns into cities, players use the Steamboat Building action to build steamboats outside of port cities. Delivering to a steamboat provides players with a 1 income bonus, and goods can be transported from and through steamboats as well. Each turn, the steamboats move a certain number of spaces up or down the river. See more details and images here.
Age of Steam Expansion: Golden Spike
This Age of Steam expansion takes place in 1860’s Western USA, where the Union Pacific Railroad and the Central Pacific Railroad raced towards each other in order to complete the first transcontinental railroad system with the Golden Spike. This is a 4-player team-dependent map, with players delivering goods to cities along the main route to build more track towards Promontory; if one side reaches before the other, their opponents are eliminated. The map starts with pre-printed "hidden" track tiles which are revealed each time a good is delivered to a city along the main Sacramento/Promontory/Omaha line. The game ends on the turn that at least one team reaches Promontory; if both teams reach it, victory points are tabulated as usual. If only one team reaches it, the other team's score is reduced to zero (but the winning team still determines each of their score using the traditional manner). See more details and images here.
