Age of Steam Expansion: Essen Spiel
It’s the most glorious time of the year: October in Germany, where the annual Essen Spiel takes place. It’s your job to set up a network of deliveries from booth to booth, to help ensure that all vendors have the games they need to sell to the masses. Of course, each day different vendors want different games, which makes your job even harder. This map contains the following special features:

Modular Design: While most maps "work" for various numbers of players, Essen Spiel was designed to be modular, just like the real Essen Spiel! For every player in the game, another hall is opened. This keeps the game tight and results in a consistent playing experience for as few as three playes and as many as six players.

Dynamic Strategic Urbanization: A complete set of cities are placed by each player every round, allowing for a layer of strategy not present in other expansions. The focus is on the flexibility and goods access of your network.

No Goods Growth: All cubes are present on the board at the beginning of the game, so there's no luck involved with when goods are available for delivery.

Players: 3-6

Optimal number of players: 3, 4, 5 & 6 (due to the modular nature of the map)

In order to win a lucrative railroad-building contract, you must secretly devise a plan to make your railroad more successful than your competitors. This is another map in the Secret Blueprints of Steam series, and can be used interchangeably with Plan #1 from the original set.
